Lyle Witkowicz

Joined the Board of Directors in 2018.

Lyle Witkowicz holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is the Regional Operations Manager, Americas at Shell Canada. Lyle has been with the Shell organization for 30 years, 20 years of which have been spent in the Aviation department.

Lyle brings global aviation safety, operations, and strategic experience to the board. Lyle has spent his entire life in the oil industry. He grew up learning from his parents who operated a fuel and lubricants distributorship in Viscount, Saskatchewan. In 1988, Lyle joined Shell and served in many management roles from marketing to operations. In his role as Regional Operations Manager, Americas, Lyle is responsible for the safe operations of into plane fueling at close to 600 airports for Shell in the Americas.

Lyle is a volunteer at the Museum, with a particular passion for the Lancaster Bomber. He has also served with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets 604 “Moose” Squadron, serving on the Parents Sponsoring Committee. Lyle enjoys when he can spend quality time with his son Michael and his wife Sheriza.
