Yes, visitors are more than welcome to take photographs during their visit. We only ask that you respect the barriers and boundaries of the museum. Please also allow museum staff and volunteers time to fix their hair and makeup before snapping shots. If you are interested in having graduation, engagement, wedding, or birthday photographs taken in our museum please call to book this type of photography session.

That depends largely on the individual. You can rush through if you are pressed for time and focus on the larger exhibits and aircraft or you can take a more leisurely approach and spend a few hours scouring our great exhibits. Typically groups will anticipate staying for about two hours if completing a guided tour, or about one hour for a self-guided tour.

Please call the museum (or stop by during open hours) and speak with one of our staff members before bringing in an article for donation. Due to limited storage room for artifacts we want to ensure that your keepsake is treated with utmost respect and also that it is a good fit with our currrent collection. We can also refer you to other museums or collections that could benefit from your donations.

No, we do not have food services on site, however we are a very short distance from some excellent sites for both sit down and fast food.

We feature a wide variety of civilian and military aircraft that spans the entire century of Canadian flight. The one common tie they have is that they have all been integral in Western Canadian aviation history. You can view the collection here.

Unfortunately visitors cannot enter any of our aircraft. They are antiques and very delicate. In some cases their restoration has taken thirty years. We want to ensure that they remain intact and undamaged for years to come.

Children are welcome to participating in our visitors challenge, answering challenging questions about the museum to win a prize.

Yes, we offer group rates for both students and seniors, please contact us for more details.
