The 2018 dates are July 22 – August 6.
The United Space School is the chance of a lifetime if you are considering going into a career in the aerospace industry. Students from approximately 50 countries spend two weeks together in Houston, Texas learning from experts in the field. Applying to email@example.com gives you the chance to become Western Canada’s delegate for 2018. We are looking for someone who will be an enthusiastic ambassador for our country, and who will also benefit from the learning and growth opportunities that the United Space School provides. This is an all-expenses paid experience from The Hangar Flight Museum.

- Motivation Video (90 seconds). Tell us why you want to go to Houston and why you should be the delegate from Western Canada. Optional: you may complete this as a cover letter if you are unable to send a video.
- One reference letter
- 500 word essay. The 2018 topic is: The development of capabilities to explore and send humans into space can be extremely expensive, dangerous, and have no guarantees of returns that justify the costs and risks. Public funds used for space research and development better serve humanity if applied to solving problems here on Earth. Do you agree or disagree and why? (Don't forget to include scientific reasoning and data as well as persuasive logic arguments).
- A copy of your recent academic transcript
- A copy of your Canadian passport valid through November 2018
