The Hangar Flight Museum is fortunate to have a strong group of volunteers who offer their immeasurable skills and talents to the museum on a daily basis. Thanks to their passion and dedication we are able to offer a unique experience to our visitors, deliver interesting programming to our students, and maintain our archival and artifact collections for future generations to enjoy. We support and encourage volunteer engagement and offer many benefits to our volunteers including, unlimited free admission to the museum and select special events, an individual annual non-voting museum membership, 10% discount in our gift shop, volunteer recognition events including our annual Christmas appreciation reception, the opportunity to work with a unique collection alongside other like-minded individuals, flexible scheduling and free parking!
Want to know how airplanes fly? Join us at The Hangar Flight Museum to help our guests discover the past and dream about the future by introducing them to all that we have to offer. You can be the one to launch their experience "to infinity... and beyond!" Volunteers work with the public, are able to complete a 3-4 hour shift, have computer skills and excellent communication skills.
