Youth Programs

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Programs are offered seven days a week from 9:30 AM - 8:30 PM as space and staff are available. 
  • Programs must be booked in advance on a first come/first serve basis, minimum 3 weeks’ notice.
  • Adult to children ratios for each program must be met in order to run the program.
  • Multiple group bookings may be available; two programs must be booked at least 1 month in advance and are subject to staff and space availability.
  • All programs have a minimum booking fee of $125.
  • Programs must be paid for on or before the date of the program. A 10% late fee per day may apply.

 

Up, Up, and Away - Ages 5 +

Discover what goes up, up, and away with this guided program where we build and test different flying devices. Activities are customizable to best meet your group’s needs. For a full list of activities, click HERE. Please contact us for more information regarding specific activities.

1 adult to 8 students ratio, minimum of 2 adults required. Maximum group size of 35

Duration: 120 minutes 

Program Cost: $9.00/child

Add on a guided tour to create a full day program for an additional $6.00/child

 

Girl Guides Aeronautics Badge - Age 9-11

Guides will take their eyes to the sky and develop an interest in aerospace. Guides will work towards their Aeronautics Badge by:

  • touring the main hangar and discover the different components of an aircraft
  • learning about air traffic control
  • building and testing a glider, 3 paper planes, and a simple kite

1 adult to 8 students ratio, minimum of 2 adults required. Maximum group size of 50

Duration: 120 minutes

Nose Art - Ages 7+

Learn about the history of wartime nose art and then design your own to represent who you are! Afterwards bring your creation to life by painting it on a canvas shaped like the nose of an aircraft.

1 adult to 8 children ratio, minimum of 2 adults required. Maximum group size of 50.

Duration: 120 minutes

Guided Tour - All ages

Led by one of our knowledgeable guides, this tour leads your group through the history of our Second World War hangar and the military, commercial and civilian planes contained within it.

1 adult to 10 children ratio, minimum of 2 adults required.

Duration: 90 minutes
