The Hangar Flight Museum is fortunate to have a strong group of volunteers who offer their immeasurable skills and talents to the museum on a daily basis. Thanks to their passion and dedication we are able to offer a unique experience to our visitors, deliver interesting programming to our students, and maintain our archival and artifact collections for future generations to enjoy. We support and encourage volunteer engagement and offer many benefits to our volunteers including, unlimited free admission to the museum and select special events, an individual annual non-voting museum membership, 10% discount in our gift shop, volunteer recognition events including our annual Christmas appreciation reception, the opportunity to work with a unique collection alongside other like-minded individuals, flexible scheduling and free parking!

Educational Tour Guide
Volunteers teach curriculum based educational programs to our school aged visitors. Shifts run the length of the pre-booked tour and can take place in the morning, afternoon or evening, from Monday - Friday.

Interpretive Tour Guide/Docent
You are the friendly face responsible for greeting visitors on the museum hangar floor, demonstrating various hands-on activities and leading impromptu and previously booked public guided tours.

Special Events
Volunteers participate in the delivery of on-sight and off-sight events, including: off-site promotion, Aviation Days, Fund Raising Activities, Space Day and other events. You are friendly, out-going and energetic.
