Joined the Board of Directors in 2020. 

Carol was born in Vancouver and first moved to Calgary in 1989, moving back and forth between BC and Alberta since then. She spends time with her 3 grandchildren skating, face painting and even having water gun fights. 

Carol holds an MBA and has always had a keen interest in strategic and business planning. She is the Director of Operations for Lead Foundation, a non-profit organization that is funded by Alberta Education to provide programs and services to children ages 2 to 8 with developmental delay problems. Carol joined Lead in February 2020. Prior to that, she was the Director of Operations for the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre. She worked in various non-profit sectors such as post-secondary education and the B.C. provincial government as well as in for-profit in the professional services industry where she managed law firms. At one point in her career, Carol worked for Conair Aviation in Abbotsford, B.C. Carol is also currently serving on the Board of the Churchill Park Family Care Society. 

Carol's father served during the Second World War as a Wireless Operator in Avro Lancasters, so she has an interest in the history of Canadian aviation - particularly the RCAF. She remembers him talking about training in Calgary before he was sent to England where he met Carol's mother – a war bride.
